5 Vloggers Who Inspire Me

5 Vloggers Who Inspire Me

When I started my vlog channel Aduke Schulist (previously known as Life As A Convert), I didn’t realize how big vlogging already was – or just how big it was going to get. Fast forward a few years, and it seems like everybody is a YouTuber. It’s way too easy to get lost in a sea of subscribe buttons, so I’ve picked out 5 of my favorite vloggers who inspire me to share with you.

Once you have subscribed to my YouTube channel, check out these 5 vloggers who inspire me:

Jesus loving, make up guru, Charis, and her handsome husband Jacob, are some of the first Christian YouTubers I came across. I was pleasantly surprised with how open and unapologetic Charis was/is about her religion. She adores Disney and has such a sweet personality. If you like fashion, Jesus, and relationship goals then you will like her channel.

I came across Julien’s channel in the same manner a lot of other people probably did, through Jenna’s, but he is so much more than Jenna’s boyfriend. His videography skills are amazing and his passion for vlogging shows through in each of his vlogs.

Fellow hairy girl, Alyse seems to share a lot of personality traits with myself. She is adventurous with her body and not afraid to step away from what is deemed normal. Her videos focus on her journey to becoming a better her through health and lifestyle choices.

This family is still new to me, but they quickly became one of my favorites. All too often people want to fake their life for YouTube views, but this family keeps it real, shares it all, and invites you to watch along. They are a Mormon family traveling the world with their 9 (yes NINE!) children and also have a heart for adoption.

Past contestant of Canadian Idol, Mikey has been gaining a lot of popularity lately because of his “I Wear Speedos” parody, but his talent has been around YouTube for a while. I found him after one of his acapella songs. His vlogs are just as enjoyable as his singing. He shares uplifting messages and has a contagious optimistic personality.

If the saying “You are who you hang around is true” then I am miserably failing. I am not nearly as cool, or successful, as these vloggers. Then again, these are just some of my favorite internet peoples.

Who are some of your favorite vloggers?

  1. I definitely want more of “Alyss from Raw Alignment!!!)
This is quite a nice list. I have to take more time to listen to the others. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Mikey is the only one I have heard of before now and yes it was due to his Speedo pardoy. lol I am always impressed with Vloggers, yourself included! I have NO talent for editing videos whatsoever. Thanks for sharing your favs. I like how diverse they are!

  3. I’m a huge fan of travel vlogs, especially The Bucket List Family. Have to check out your favorites too, I might find some new ones for me.

  4. As an individual who prefers reading to watching movies, I am much more familiar with popular blogs than I am with vlogs. So it might not surprise you when I confess that I haven’t heard of a single one of these vloggers! But it is always interesting to find new material, and I will be checking these out.

  5. I have to be honest, I’ve never really gotten into the whole vlogging thing unfortunately 🙁 but I’m a travel blogger, so some of these that do travel related posts do interest me x

  6. I honestly have not watched alot of You Tubers. I know my kids are into them a whole lot more than I am. Some of these sound interesting.

  7. so much to learn to become a blogger.
yes I like the blog of Mike B. he’s a funny guy but of course sometimes serious mood is ON that’s why I’m searching for more blogs and read the whole content if the vlogger catched my curiousity! lol

  8. I personally won’t vlog. I’m not comfortable on camera. As a matter of fact I just had a video interview this morning where I had to record my responses. It was horrid. I’ve never actually watched many vloggers either. I do want to check out a couple of these, because I like to laugh and Mikey sounds hysterical, and I love Jesus, so I’d like to see what Charis is like.

  9. Truth moment: I don’t follow a lot of vlogs. However, you’ve definitely peaked my interest with you list of inspirational vloggers. Looks like they really enjoy what they do and are having a blast doing it.

  10. I’ve been thinking about vlogging for some time now! It looks like it’s a platform that bloggers should explore and learn about. I’ve seen some of the videos of these vloggers and I think they’re awesome!

  11. I don’t watch any vloggers on a regular basis but I do love Grav3yard Girl’s channels!! She is hilarious and a total makeup guru who is also gothic and from south Texas. LOVE her!!

    1. I’ve seen a few other people talk about her channel recently. I actually added one of her videos to my “watch later” list, but haven’t viewed it yet. I’m obsessed with YouTube!

  12. This is a great list of vloggers. I don’t usually follow them a whole lot. I’ve seen some bloggers do videos, but they’re not really vloggers though.

  13. I plan to do some traveling within the next six months so I’m really interested in travel vloggers and listening to their travel experience. I really like the ones you suggested. I’ll check them out.
