Forgive that terrible infomercial intro, but this Apple Pie Cheesecake is seriously the best thing you will make this Fall. It’s the kind of recipe where everybody wants a copy. I suggest not giving it to them 😉

I gotta say, the first time I ever made this recipe was also the first time I ever baked a cheesecake. I was a little nervous of how it would turn it, but this Apple Pie Cheesecake recipe is hard to mess up.

So, keep the recipe for yourself, but share this delicious dessert with your friends, family, coworkers.. Or you know, just hide in your closet after the kids go to bed and eat it yourself.

Apple Pie Cheesecake Recipe - with Granny Smith Apples

Apple Pie Cheesecake
  1. Cook apples, 1/4 cup sugar, and 1/2 tsp cinnamon over medium heat until apples are tender. Set aside
  2. Heat oven to 325 degrees.
  3. Combine graham cracker crumbs, oats, butter, remaining cinnamon and 2 Tbsp of the remaining sugar. Press into spring form pan.
  4. Beat cream cheese, vanilla, and remaining sugar in medium sized bowl until blended. Add eggs 1 at a time, and mix until blended.
  5. Arrange half of the apples on top of the crust to within 1/2 inch of the edge. Be careful not to overlap the apples. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust.
  6. Bake cheesecake for 60 to 80 minutes, or until center is almost set. Refrigerate for about 4 hours before removing from pan.
  7. Garnish the top of the cheesecake with the remaining cooked apples.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
