Super Easy 5 Ingredient Chili Recipe

Grab your spoons, it’s Chili season!! Perhaps I should start off by saying any time is Chili time for me. I don’t discriminate based on weather, but I especially love it during the Fall/Winter seasons. Unfortunately, I don’t always have the time to make the beans homemade on top of making the chili, so this Chili recipe is for those times.

This Chili can be made using only 5 ingredients and is super quick to make. It’s also delicious, but most chili is.

Best of all, it’s budget friendly and enough to feed a family of at least 4. We always have leftovers.

5 Simple Steps:

Step 1: Gather your ingredients. I’m a big fan of Best Choice as you can see here. I’ve never felt like I was getting below quality ingredients with this brand. Best Choice is affordable and totally not sponsoring this post.

Step 2: Brown your ground beef with your onion. I actually like to add some garlic powder or diced garlic to mine.

Step 3: Drain and rinse your beans. If you prefer, you could skip the draining and rinsing, but I prefer to rinse my canned beans.

Step 4: Add all the ingredients including the cooked meat to a large pot. Stir, cook, and simmer until all the flavors are combined.

Growing up we always ate our chili with crackers, but lately I find myself enjoying it with cornbread.

The leftovers are great on a Frito pie, chili cheese dog, or as is. You can’t go wrong with this 5 Ingredient Chili Recipe.

  1. I need meals that are fast to make when my hungry boys are waiting on me to cook dinner. This is a perfect recipe for the family and especially to warm us up on cold Chicago nights.

  2. My husband wanted to make chili for the longest time! Haha, this looks so easy to make. We prob just would not put the beans 😛

  3. Chilli is such a great dish to eat on a cold winter day, the type of comfort food that you would have in front of the tv, under a blanket. I love how simple your recipe is but full of flavours!

  4. You really simplified chili which for me is a somewhat laborious meal. I make chili almost once a week and it is similar to yours but with dry beans usually. I do like how yours looked nice job.

  5. This does look really simple there. I know that I made chili once before. Unfortunately, the last time I did it, it did some bad things to my dutch oven which I had to dump. That made me feel sad. But this looks like it should be pretty easy.
